Advancing mental health through clinical research

Alethea leads clinical strategy, quality, and care delivery across Lyra’s clinical services. She has been with Lyra since 2021, and is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience in mental health and clinical operations, with a focus on healthcare innovation and program development. She received her bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Dr. Lungu is a licensed clinical psychologist and clinical researcher who leads the Clinical Product and Research team at Lyra. She completed a PhD in computer science at Duke University, a PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Washington, and a postdoctoral fellowship at UCSF. At Lyra she was the lead clinical architect for all Lyra Care programs, responsible for their clinical definition, digital tools development, and scientific evaluation. She has published research in both computer science and clinical psychology with more than 30 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as JAMA Psychiatry, and Journal of Medical Internet Research.

Dr. Lee is a licensed clinical psychologist and clinical researcher with 15 years of experience in mental health research. She completed a PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Georgia and a postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. She was previously an assistant professor at Emory University School of Medicine and has been leading clinical research teams in real-world evidence generation for more than five years. She has published more than 30 articles on mental health in leading journals such as npj Digital Medicine, Lancet Oncology, and Journal of Medical Internet Research.
